General symptoms of Illness

All Praises be to Allah.

Those who deal with Ruqiah (incantation) as prescribed in Islam have mentioned some of the symptoms from which it may be known whether a person has been possessed by the jinn or affected by the evil eye. They are not definitive symptoms and may vary in some cases, and may be more or less in other cases.

As for the symptoms of possession, they are:

1 -Turning away from remembering Allah Salat, Quran invocations.
2 – Staying away from people & like to be alone, behaving strange.
3 – Seeing shadows passing by them.
4 – Feeling Sadness and anxiety.
5 – Feeling numbness flowing in the body.
6 – Feeling sometimes very high heartbeats.
7 – Headaches most of the time without any reason.
8 – Mental distraction (mind always absent).
9 – Feeling tired and lazy, no motivation whatsoever
10 -Speaking alone or they do not speak at all
11 – Anxiety increases at nightfall or at dawn and mood changing
12 – Sight affected e.g. flashes, strange staring, etc.
13 – suffering from insomnia, difficulty falling asleep.
14 -Seeing nightmares, animals chasing them often black dogs, cats, snakes, see graves, dirty places, falling from high building.
15 – Having often erotic dreams.
16 – When Quran is recited they’ll have seizures Faint and fall down, and the Jinn in them may speak

If any person has these symptoms he needs Ruqiah (incantation) treatment immediately

Signs by which a Magician (witch) may be recognized

1 – He asks about one’s name and one’s mother’s name.
2 – He demands the slaughter of an animal or bird, without mentioning Allah’s name when slaughtering. Whether it has specific characteristics or not, and whether the blood is to be smeared on the sick person or not.
3 – He tells the sick person to eat a certain kind of food, or to drink a certain kind of drink, for a specific period of time, whilst keeping away from people in a darkened room during this period.
4 – He gives the sick person papers to burn and scent himself with the smoke (like incense), or to hang them up, or to bury them.
5 – Everyone who writes letters or numbers, or hexagons, or tears up the words of Allah, is a witch.
6 – Everyone who mutters incomprehensible words, or speaks in tongues.
